The Old Geology or Edgeworth David building was built 1893-1895. The bridge to the Macleay Museum was added in 1915-1918, and in 1920 the building was remodelled following the plans of Leslie Wilkinson, including a change in the roof. The original form of the roof was restored in 1981. Stucco-rendered brick, two stories, with a triple gable on Science Road.
