Absolutely brilliant doctor.. I was diagnosed with cholangiocarsinoma, Doctor Yeo performed a Whipple procedure.. Some time later he also did an incisional hernia surgery as well.. I only have good things to mention for him..
My friend was recently misdiagnosed by some RPAH health professionals. His condition escalated over a ten-day period and it then became critical. He was in Intensive Care when Dr David Yeo examined him and then decided to take the risk to perform an operation on him.Dr David Yeo, and his colleagues, worked together as high level professional and effective team. The Nursing staff of the gastroenterological department (Level 7, Ward East 1) are also highly trained, knowledgeable and extremely experienced. The staff in Intensive Care have all received excellent training and they were enormously helpful at all times.I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in my friends care for their dedication, commitment and hard work. We are extremely grateful to each of you.It must be said, however, that as in most organisations, one does meet a tiny minority of personnel, who fail to meet the high standards set by the majority. As a result, they do not deliver the quality of service set by their professional colleagues.Fortunately, I can say with complete confidence that the Intensive Care Unit and the Gastroenterological Department are the finest medical teams, and they are a great asset to RPAH.

I highly recommend Dr Yeo. It's rare to find a surgeon who is so professional and knowledgeable with such a great bedside manner. I had previously seen another surgeon who questioned what I was telling him. Dr Yeo listened to me and then explained everything in terms I understood. I had a large hernia repaired which allowed me to return to physical work painfree much sooner than I had expected. 5 stars for sure. Thanks again David
